Description

Antique Late Victorian Ash Linen or Clothes Press by Maples & Co and dating form around 1890. Constructed from quality Ash it has a cornice top with a deep frieze and above two fielded panelled doors with original brass handle and internally with four sliding drawers all of which are ash lined. To the base there is a moulded edge above two short over three long graduating drawers all of which are ash lined with original brass handles. It stands on a plinth base and the top separates for ease of transporting.
Measures: 84" high x 22" deep x interal depth 19" x 50" wide
A superb Late Victorian Ash Linen or Clothes press and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
