Description

Superb Antique William 1V Mahogany Double Wardrobe and dating from around 1830. It has a cornice top with architectural style breakfront to each end above an arched top leading to turned and scrolled columns to either side of the panelled doors with lovely flamed mahogany panels and with small brass knob handles and brass door divider. It is moulded to the top of the false drawer front base which gives the appearance of two short drawers over two long drawers with original brass handles and it stands on small bun feet.
Internally it has double width hanging space with a brass rail and the clothes hang below the false drawer front.
It has a panelled back and the top separates from the base for ease of transporting.
Measures: 76" high x 48.5" wide x 23.5" deep x internal depth 18"
In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quailty mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period.
