Description

Antique Victorian Mahogany Breakfront Mirror Back Sideboard / Chiffonier and dating from around 1880. Of quality mahogany the large mirror ( in good condition) is set within a deep moulded mahogany frame with pierced pedament to the centre and scrolled carved supports to each side. The sideboard has a moulded edge to the breakfront top and to the centre there is a deep frieze drawer with moulded panel above an arched panelled door with internal shelf. To each side there is an arched panelled door and with one side having an internal drawer to the top above two sliding mahogany trays and to the othere side there is a drawer to the top above a fixed shelf and with a sliding cellarette drawer with original zinc lining. It stands on a deep plinth base and the mirrored top removes for ease of transporting.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period.
