Description

Antique Victorian Oak Hall Settle or Bench and dating from around 1880. Constructed from solid oak it has a moulded top rail with turned finial to each side support above two deep moulded panels to the backrest and with scrolled armrests on turned supports. The seat has a moulded edge again with two moulded panels above a deep skirt and stands on turned front legs and straight back legs joined by a shaped stretcher base.
measures: 40" high x seat height 17" x 17" deep x 56" wide
We do have a pair of these Settles which would also make wonderful seating for a country oak dining table.
