a burr walnut serpentine fronted triple wardrobe c1920

Description

A Burr Walnut serpentine fronted triple wardrobe and dating from around 1920. This original piece has a carved cornice with a wide concave lip under each end. Above the central door is a carved frieze with a putty head to the centre. All doors have original Brass handles and keys. Behind the left hand and centre doors is a hanging rail with shoe rails to the bottom. Behind the right hand door are three slide trays above three glass fronted drawers. The whole of the wardrobe interior is lined in Satinwood. The wardrobe stands on a plinth with a carved bottom edge on carved cabriole legs. It separates into six pieces for ease of movement.
