Description

Antique Edwardian Mahogany Bow Front Desk and dating from around 1900. Constructed FM quality mahogany it has a shaped gallery bowed back with a deep frieze which is edged in satinwood and ebony and with a drawer to each end which is mahogany lined with original handles. The desk top has a green embossed skiver set within a crossbanded edge with satinwood stringing. There is one long drawer to the centre flanked on either side by two drawers all of which are mahogany lined with satinwood stringing and brass handles. It stands on squared tapered legs with fine stringing and on original castors. A very good quality desk.
Measures: height to top of back 35" x desk height 30" x knee height 24" x depth 24" and width 50.5"
with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
