Description

Antique Large Georgian Regency Mahogany Extending Dining Table and dating from aorund 1810. Constructed from quality mahogany, and consisting of a separate drop leaf dining table and a pair of 'D' ended side tables that when all put together and using its original brass clips forms a 9ft.6" long dining table that will seat up to 12 people.
Each pair of 'D' end tables have a squared edge to the top above a deep mahogany frieze and stand on squared and tapering legs. and each table measures: 29" high x 22" deep x 42" wide
The Drop leaf dining table with squared edge and opens by means of a single gate leg action that seats 6 -8 people and measures: 29" high x 42" deep x 61" wide when opened & 19" when closed.
By using the brass clips the 'd' end tables are fastened to each end of the centre table and forms one long table measuring 29" high x 42" deep x 104" long (8ft'6")
A most attractive Georgian Regency Table in very good condition with a wonderful colour and original patination to the mahogany and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
