antique early victorian mahogany marble washstand c1840

Description

Antique Early Victorian Mahogany & Marble Washstand and dating form aorund 1840. It has a high gallery back with shaped sides and with moulded edge to the white Carreras marble top above three mahogany drawers ( the centre being a false front) and with the drawers on eiter side being mahogany lined with original turned knob handles. It stands on a shaped and moulded side support joined by a shaped mahogany stretcher with moulded circular pot board to the centre and stands on raised bun feet.
Measures: 35" high to galllery back x 30" high x 21" deep x 42" wide
A lovely Early Victorian Washstand in very good condition with a wonderful colour and patination to the flamed mahogany and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Please note that there is a very small age mark to the right hand side of the marble ( which is usual for its age) however it is more noticable in the photographs than in reality.
